FASB’s Brady Cesarski Walk-Off Grand Slam to Win the 12U Blue Championship Game

Good afternoon Champions,

I pray this email finds you all doing well. It’s with great honor and pleasure I send this CONGRATULATIONS email to our FASB family. But before I move forward with the congratulations I want to first start by asking the entire FASB family to lift up all of our injured players in healing and believing prayers.

Landon Chilcote, Catcher Smith, and Landon Victorian were injured over the weekend and unable to compete. This weekend was more proof positive of why we place such high regard on being a TEAM! We also had multiple players miss games due to an MLB Showcase event. All of the above circumstances provided opportunities for others to step in and step up. I will continue to state this, we are not just collecting talent we’re building an organization. Our organizational strength was on display this weekend.

Below are the rosters of both the 14U and 12U Blue Championship Teams. I want to personally thank Andrew Sauceda, Edrick Lerma and David Rodriguez for answering the call to help the 14U team on short notice. I also want to take my hat off to 12U Blue Player Dillion Cooper for stepping up and volunteering to get behind the plate knowing all three 12U Blue Catchers were injured. Dillion did a tremendous job catching both the semi-finals and championship games.

We are extremely proud of the FASB Major Stars 14U & 12U Blue Royals TEAMS! They both dominated their opponents in route to winning their respective tournament championships. The 14U team went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend and the 12U Blue went 4-0 after receiving a first-round bye as the #1 seed.

For the 14U Christian Hamilton was named the Perfect Game Tournament’s MVP and Langston Mosley was named the Most Valuable Pitcher by the Perfect Game Tournament Director.

Big-Time Brady Cesarski was named the Tournament MVP for the 12U Blue after dominating on the mound and hitting a game-winning Walk-Off Grand Slam in the Championship Game.

Not to be overlooked this weekend were the efforts of our 11U Blue Team as well. They came up short in the Championship Game to bring home second place. It’s the fourth tournament in a row that the 11U Blue Team has either won the Championship or finished second.

We also had some other outstanding individual performances this weekend. Cade Morris Pitched outstanding for the 14U Team, 12U Blue Pitcher Jayden Humphrey was superb on the mound, Brandon Sauceda delivered some clutch hits, Carson White continued his all-around impressive season with another home run (10) on the season and outstanding defense in centerfield, and Solomon Lockett was a magician with the glove at shortstop and had some key RBI hits to spark the 12U Blue offense.

Last but surely not least, I want to thank all of our FASB coaches for pouring your knowledge, passion and love for the game into our young men. Your dedication and hard work is preparing our champions for COMPETITION! Parents, thanks again for all your support. Let’s keep grinding!
